Balinghem (French pronunciation: [balɛ̃ɡɑ̃]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region in northern France.[3]
Geography[edit]
A village located 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Calais, on the D228 road.

Sights[edit]
- The sixteenth-century church of the Nativité-de-Notre-Dame.
- A monument to the meeting of Henry VIII and Francis I of France at the Field of the Cloth of Gold in 1520.
Transport[edit]
The Chemin de fer d'Anvin à Calais opened a railway station at Guînes in 1881.[5] The railway was closed in 1955.[6]
