Appropriate usage[edit]
I added a description of this category to the main page. To keep this category verifiable in accordance with WP:ATT someone has to have a significant and verifiable accomplishment to be included in this category. Further, to qualify for this category, the subject should have done something new and made some kind of lasting impact on aviation to be considered a pioneer. I have moved people that do not meet this standard to the parent category Aviator. Dhaluza 22:35, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Lists of early aviators[edit]
The lists of early aviators should perhaps be in a 'List' subcategory. I think that it is important for researchers looking here to be able to find the lists, but not in amongst the aviators themselves. --TraceyR (talk) 18:50, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
