The Battle of Jeshkovo (Serbian: Битка на Јешкову, Romanized: Bitka na Ješkovu; Albanian: Beteja e Jeshkovës) was fought during the Kosovo War between the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and the FR Yugoslav Forces. It was fought in Jeshkovo, in the District of Prizren on 11 March 1999.

KLA insurgents managed to keep Jeshkovo from the Yugoslav Army. Albanians claimed that the Yugoslav Army retreated due to heavy losses.

Dead KLA soldiers[edit]

In the battle of Jeshkovo, 9 KLA soldiers were killed. The names of the dead KLA soldiers are: Hysen Rexhepi, Bashkim Suka, Hajdar Shala, Ymredin Çengaj, Alajdin, Xhezairi, Hamit Thaqi, Tahir Gashi, Skënder Latifi, and Feriz Susuri.

Missing KLA soldiers[edit]

In this battle, 13 soldiers of the KLA disappeared, their fate is unknown. They are: Besnik Kastrati, Rexhep Buduri, Ymer Shala, Nuredin Shala, Musli Gashi, Bajram Shala, Lulzim Shala, Femi Shala, Hylmi Shala, Shemsedin Shala, Bali Avdaj, Liman Shala, Shahadin Shala.
