Emam Ashour Metwally Abdelghany (Arabic: إمام عاشور متولي عبدالغني; born 20 February 1998) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly and the Egypt national football team.
Club career[edit]
Ashour started his career at Ghazl El Mahalla, then he joined Zamalek in 2019.
He later played for Midtjylland in Denmark, then returned to Egypt to join Al Ahly in July 2023.[2]
On 15 December 2023, he scored his first goal for Al Ahly in a 3–1 win over Al-Ittihad in the FIFA Club World Cup second round.[3]
