Talk:List of Israeli submissions for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film
Trivia[edit]
This article is mainly meant to serve as a list, so the introductory paragraph should be brief and factual. There is no place for any form of trivial information here, and any relevant data that deals with specific films should appear in their own articles. AshcroftIleum (talk) 03:21, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- A comment about the directors with multiple nominated films also exists in List of Japanese submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Kakun (talk) 04:55, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- The function of the lead section should be to clarify what the list includes, and how or why items are added to it (as in the selection process which you wrote about). For the record, I think the Japanese list also includes trivial information. AshcroftIleum (talk) 06:38, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Waltz With Bashir[edit]
Is going to win. Leopold Stotch (talk) 02:17, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- What an obvious snub! The whole night was a giant sham. The Academy is always lacking integrity, I don't think anyone is surprised, but this year was too much. Leopold Stotch (talk) 17:36, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Source[edit]
What might be the source for the first half of the list? Kakun (talk) 20:20, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- IMDB and/or other wikipedia articles, i.e. lists of foreign language nominees by year. AshcroftIleum (talk) 21:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned references in List of Israeli submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film[edit]
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Israeli submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 08:48, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
