Relative size of the Batillus class[edit]

All four of the Batillus class vessels were built on the same size hulls (see the length, depth, and breadth figures) and were therefore the same size. Their deadweights were different because Shell(owners of Batillus and Bellamya) and C.N.N.(owners of Pierre Guillaumat and Prairial) used different methods for determining that tonnage. The Batillus and Bellamya had the greater gross ton figures because of their larger deckhouses. Chasrob (talk) 15:23, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
