Vexatious and wholly pedantic reverts[edit]

Reverted two wholly pedantic reverts to Lobsterthermidor's text which were fully supported by sources quoted. This behaviour by Smalljim appears to me to be part of a long-running edit-war between these two parties, which has run for two years. I ask that such behaviour ceases. Lt, see Talk:John Arscott (1613-1675) for the rationale for making these changes. I'll be reinstating the corrections unless you can convince me by reasoned argument (not by trying to frighten me off with words) that I'm wrong.

I don't know where you get the idea from that this has gone on for two years, or that it's an edit war (have you read that policy?) - some further inaccuracies on your part, I think ;-) —SMALL JIM 11:23, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion etc[edit]

I've made a number of edits to the article today, both to add new material and to make what I hope are improvements to the existing content.
