Alvin Leung[edit]

  • ... that Alvin Leung serves an edible condom at his Hong Kong based restaurant, Bo Innovation?

  • Date, size fine. I guess it passes notability, but I'd prefer to see an English ref for this hook. I am fine with AGF foreign ones usually, but I wonder if this is not a pun (which we usually discourage), or a badly written hook. I read the article in way that implies that the condom is a name of a drink. If I am wrong, please clarify in the article, and if possible, provide an English lang ref. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 20:54, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Added English language source (which even has a picture) and added further explanation to the article. Believe it or not but they had the contestants eat these on Around the World in 80 Plates. Miyagawa (talk) 18:00, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Seems to have dropped off the radar. Reviewer needed to do a final check based on the above. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:22, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Condom is a plant-based edible food, and hook is sourced at the end of the sentence. Date and length of the article checks out. All paragraphs are sourced. No copyvio. Hook is certainly interesting enough. QPQ done. Good to go. Maile66 (talk) 11:36, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
    • Can someone link kappa in the article? I never heard of it and 'kappa' goes to a dab page and I can't figure out what kappa is. PumpkinSky talk 12:13, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
  • To be honest this had me scratching my head too. I think it's Cassava, which is what I've linked to to. I had to do some searching to find out, and got pointed towards the Cassava by a couple of sources - but I'm happy to be told I'm completely wrong! :) Miyagawa (talk) 13:04, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Since I'm the reviewer, I don't want to get into any editing of the article. But on the Kappa (disambiguation) mentioned by PumpkinSky, when you scroll down to the bottom, it refers to something that has no Wiki page:
  • Kappamaki, a type of vegetarian sushi made with cucumber
Maile66 (talk) 13:11, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
That would make more sense - I'll red link it to that. Miyagawa (talk) 14:05, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
Looks good now, I agree with . Maile66's ok'ing this to go. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 15:58, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
