Overall: Earwig finds a few similar phrases, but they are common phrases which I believe do not count as copyvio. ALT1 checks out in citation 3 here ("shortest lived"). I prefer ALT1. I don't think we can use ALT0, because the information in it is to be expected. Just one issue of presentation:

  • The name of the biography subject should appear at or near the beginning of every paragraph ("he" or "his" causes confusion). There is only one to correct: "During his imamate, Shia activists".

When that issue can be resolved, this nom should be good to go with ALT1.. Storye book (talk) 12:26, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

@Storye book: I believe i've fixed it. Onegreatjoke (talk) 04:14, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
Thank you, Onegreatjoke, you have, indeed. Storye book (talk) 10:16, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
Good to go with ALT1. Storye book (talk) 10:16, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
@Onegreatjoke and Storye book:Isn't it kind of odd to say "he was the youngest to die"? One of the sources says he was "the shortest-lived" which makes more sense but I know it doesn't sound nice. Not sure how to fix or if anyone else picked up on that. "He died at the youngest age" / "He died youngest"? Cielquiparle (talk) 11:33, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
I think ALT1 sounds fine, and the meaning is clear. However, here is an ALT2 as an available alternative, if someone would please approve it for us? Thank you. Storye book (talk) 15:58, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that Muhammad al-Jawad was the ninth of the Twelve Imams and, with his unexplained death at about twenty-five, the shortest lived? Storye book (talk) 15:58, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
Reviewer required for ALT2 only. Storye book (talk) 18:03, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
Storye book Is there a difference between ALT1 and ALT2? Cielquiparle (talk) 18:35, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
@Cielquiparle: Oops, my bad. I meant to adjust ALT2 to respond to the alternative wording suggested by yourself. I have now corrected it (youngest to die → shortest lived). Storye book (talk) 10:03, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
Approving just ALT2 (as personally I think "shortest lived" makes more sense, and it was in the source). But Storye book how about:
*ALT1a: ... that Muhammad al-Jawad was the ninth of the Twelve Imams and, with his unexplained death at about twenty-five, the youngest age when he died?
I also changed it to past tense. Cielquiparle (talk) 23:50, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
with ALT2. Thank you, Cielquiparle. Sorry I don't think that we can use ALT1a, because the final phrase in the hook contains awkward syntax (as if the imams were contemporaries and he died first?), and I fear that it could be thrown out of prep (or at least corrected in prep) on those grounds. I have corrected ALT2 (is→was) Storye book (talk) 09:56, 17 March 2023 (UTC).
