Hi. I am a kid that is somehow very interested in chemistry.

Here is an reaction I did.

CnHn+1-COO- Na++ CH3COOH → CnHn+1-COOH + CH3COO- Na+

Now, what is this reaction? Well acetic acid (CH3COOH) is a stronger acid than a fatty acid (CnHn+2-COOH), right? So a double displacement reaction converts the sodium-fatty acid slat to a fatty acid that precipitates out of solution. I used some isopropanol to extract the fatty acid and let it evaporate. Also can someone create a page for 3-methylthiophene?
