There's an uncited statement @ the end of the article using the word "mythical." Footnote 17 is in Italian. Don't see that as justifying the term 'legend.' There's nothing in the definition of a mug shot that makes an image copyright free. Simply because something is distributed, does not mean that the copyright is forfeited. Anyway, the license you used is for images whose copyright has expired - in Italy, that's 20 years for photographs. The mugshot is from 2008. --Mosmof (talk) 03:09, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that you removed the image license and replaced it with {{ir-Mugshot}}. But as the template says, it is not a valid license on its own and have to provide the appropriate copyright tag. Follow up on Borsellino

Thanks, looks great to me, although the section heading sounds a bit inappropriate for a Wikipedia article ("mysteries" sounds like gossip or tabloid journalism). How about changing the wording of the heading (I don't have any good idea right now) and maybe move it under Murder? The other main blocker for a potential FA promotion is the lack of a good open-license photo for the lead, I mailed Progetto Legalità to ask if they have any non-copyrighted media to share but haven't heard back yet. --DarTar (talk) 20:36, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your message...thank you also for the welcome on Wikipedia, but it is a bit out of time, since I'm in the happy family (and specifically on it.wiki) since 5+ years and 10.000+ contributions :-D...all the same, thank you. Could I please quote you and make answers? "A) However, these organisations have there origin in these regions (CORRECT) B) and most if not all members of those organisations come from these regions (UNCORRECT). C) Could you please stop your imaginary crusade and cool down a bit (UNCORRECT).

A) is correct, so no answer needed.

B) is not correct. It is for sure possible that a consistent number of the members of this organizations are from the originating regions. But, having been since long the activities of these organizations expanded outside the originating boundaries (namely in Lombardia, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna and even outside Italy), there is evidence for recruitment of local elements in the criminal organigram. Furthermore, there is also evidence for recruitment of extra-national elements (Albanians, former-Yugoslavia citizens). Therefore, any exclusive reference to the originating regions is IMHO uncorrect and needs to be amended. This is the reason why I feel more appropriate to have photos of mobsters (or any other iconographic reference which is adequately illustrative of that reality) more than maps, but naturally I'm ready to discussion.

C) I'm completely cool, and I'm not conducting any crusade, even less imaginary. I'm trying to report correct information in Wikipedia as I do since 5+ years. Do you?

There is no doubt that all the Cuccias in Piana degli Albanesi are Arbereshe. I think that we should create a new category "People of Arbereshe descent" (or something like that). Actually all the Arbereshe are categorized in this category: Category:Italian people of Albanian descent. The problem is not Francesco Cuccia only. DonCalo please stick to the sources i.e. [2]. Sicily has been a hodgepodge of many cultures for millenia, so being born in Sicily or anywhere else for that matter means nothing as regards cultural/ethnic/social identity. Being an Arbëreshë and a supporter of Albanian activism(Memoirs of Francesco Crispi) doesn't make him less of an Italian.
