Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Canadian Improv Showcase, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Canadian Comedians inclusion criteria[edit]

Thanks for your recent additions to List of Canadian comedians. For inclusion as notable comedians, we usually like to see two things: (1) that the subject has their own article, and (2) that the subject is called a comedian by reliable secondary sources (either in the lead of the subject's article or with a citation). Morro and Jasp are a variety act... so I'm a bit on the fence about including them, though they did win a Canadian Comedy Award. Another variety act that won a CCA was a juggler, and I don't think he particularly belongs on the list. Another questionable area are musical acts who have funny songs. I'm not sure that they're really considered 'comedians', though they tend to perform on the comedy circuit. – Reidgreg (talk) 05:10, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
