Just to elaborate on the above, you added several teams to the Global Rapid Rugby template, but there has been no official confirmation about the team names so far. That's not to say that it's incorrect, but the team listing can't be verified against a valid reliable source. Similarly, the South China Tigers squad template. You've added a number of players to the template, even though the official release from the HKRU states "The team logo, playing kit, management team and squad for the inaugural season will be announced at a later date." Therefore, this information can't be verified and will be removed. As soon as any of this information is officially released, feel free to re-add it, but it can't be added to Wikipedia until it is. Disambiguation link notification for December 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018–19 UCI Track Cycling World Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark Stewart (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:59, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request for IP address block review (Solved)[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Hkrugfan (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I am an active users in the past few weeks in editing current articles and creating new articles related to sports in both English and Chinese languages, for example, rugby especially Asian region and track cycling. I contributed in distributing updated and reliable information in these seemingly niche sports in the region. Many sports articles in Chinese language are not enough in detail, references and templates, I could enhance the situation after my IP address unblock. The main goal would still be those rugby articles and track cycling in English and Chinese languages. The results of various events in upcoming two stages of 2018-19 Track Cycling World Cup would be the focus, such as Madison and Sprint. Editing articles related to Junior Rugby World Cup and Trophy in the past 5 years would be another tasks. Rugby World Cup in Japan next year will be also important field to add information. I am currently unable to edit Wikipedia articles with numerous attempts with or without account logged in because of the IP block. I was directed to the template with messages suspecting me using web host provider, the block has been set to expire: 2 December 2019. The administrator, Zzuuzz placed the block. The period block is far too long and seriously affecting me as a user to contribute in Wikipedia. The IP block is indeed unnecessary and the administrator, Zzuuzz did not notify or contact me in advance before executing the IP block. I did not do anything to disrupt the articles or engage in the "editing wars" with other users. The action of the administrator seems rush without looking thoroughly my editing records.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. Not enough information to find your block. If you are 218.250.209.39, you need to show that the IP address is no longer a webhost. Yamla (talk) 11:38, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello Hkrugfan. I believe the issue has now been resolved and you should be able to edit again. Apologies for the inconvenience. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:24, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

Hello, I'm Muboshgu. Your recent edit to the page List of Major League Baseball players from Japan appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:40, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Six Day Cycling Series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Copy of Six Day Series

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NBL1[edit]

Hi there. Regarding your change at NBL1 – I'd like to know what your reasoning is for having the men's teams listed first over the women's teams. I reverted your change and you have come back and made the change again without providing a reason in the edit summary, which by the way you should be using. Cheers. Hello, Hkrugfan,

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Steve Quinn}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages.
